Academy's Messerschmitt Bf 109C/D is available
online at Squadron.com®
The kit is actually Academy's re-boxed and re-released version of the
1/48 scale Hobbycraft Messerschmitt Bf 109C/D kit from back in early
1980s. The general quality of the molding is not bad, though not up to
today's top standards.

The kit can be made to either C or D variant using different
propeller and exhaust stacks. I built it basically OOB with only a
harness added. Gunze lacquer paint used to finish the model.
The kit decals are much better than the original Hobbycraft one and
easy to apply.
