Avon Sabre

Academy's 1/48 scale Sabre is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my Australian Avon Sabre in 1/48 scale. It has been built using the Academy North American F-86F-30 Sabre kit and the excellent Red Roo conversion fuselage and decals.

I decided to remove the gun ports from he conversion fuselage halves and replace them with scratch built versions. 

I then removed the flaps and rebuilt them in the deflected attitude. I also added some scratchbuilt detail to the cockpit.
