Albatros D III Oef

Eduard's 1/48 scale Albatros D III OAW (and other versions) 
is available online from Squadron.com

Here is my 1/48 scale model of an Albatros D III Oef, series 253.

This model was based on the Eduard kit, and converted to Oef standards using my own resin parts plus a lot of work. Rigging is a string from black pantyhose.

It is finished in the colors of the Polish Air Force. The aircraft was used in 1920 during the Polish-Bolshevik war. 

Decals are custom printed by Mike Grant.
