A-7E Corsair II

Hasegawa's 1/48 scale A-7D Corsair II is available online at Squadron.com®

This is Hasegawa's 1/48 scale A-7E Corsair II.

The A-7E was built right from the box with the wings folded and I chose the VA-147 markings. I added some bombs from old kits and the RBF ribbons.

The base is a simple wood block, painted black with white stripes to simulate the aircraft carrier deck. I fixed the plane to the base with glue and I added some lines painted silver to simulate the chains that hold the plane to the carrier deck.

The pilot figure is the one that came with the 1/48 F-5F Monogram kit.
