Description

This is an update for existing HyperScale gallery of mine for a Focke-Wulf Ta 152H-1 in 1/48 scale. Of course, it is the Dragon kit.

Although built from the box, this kit was a handful, as it includes a fully detailed engine / cannon / wheel well assembly. A lot of small parts needed to be test fitted and aligned in the nose section of this aircraft.

Recently I corrected the cable antenna, which is supposed to be relaxed, when canopy is opened, and not under tension as I originally made it. I also added some details in the engine compartment.

As it is, this is probably the world’s most traveled model. I originally built it in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, then I took it with me to Sydney, Australia, and back, and now finally brought it to North Carolina. The model did not suffer any damage on it’s voyages.

Hmmm, I should probably write an article on packaging a model one day…
