Kotare has announced a couple of forthcoming accessory releases available from www.kotare-models.com:

We are pleased to announce the release of our 3Dprint resin Spitfire exhaust sets.

They are designed for the Kotare models but could possibly be modified to fit others (with some effort).

32P001 Kotare 1/32 Spitfire Exhausts, Mk.Ia (Mid/Late), Mk.Ib, Mk.IIa/b, Mk.Va & early production Mk.Vb - Triple ejector nozzle outlet. US$12.99

Accurately reproduced 1939-1941 era weld lines (not postwar or modern warbird style). This type of exhaust was introduced into Spitfire production in mid-late July 1939 and is suitable for the last few dozen Spitfire Mk.I (Early) produced (at least from serial number L1068 to L1096), the Spitfire Mk.Ia (Mid & Late), Mk.Ib, Mk.IIa/b, Mk.Va and Mk.Vb (Early).

This style of exhaust manifold was also found on Mk.I/II Hurricanes and other early Merlin engine powered aircraft.

32P002 Kotare 1/32 Spitfire Exhausts, Spitfire Mk.I (Early) - Triple ejector nozzle outlet. US$12.99

Accurately reproduced 1938-1939 era weld lines (not postwar/modern warbird style). This type of exhaust was installed on early production Spitfires up until mid-July 1939 and is suitable for Spitfire Mk.I (Early) from serial number K9787 up until at least L1054. This style of exhaust manifold was also found on early production Mk.I Hurricanes and some other early Merlin engine powered aircraft.

Designed and manufactured in New Zealand. Currently only available from www.kotare-models.com but hopefully they might become available through specialist Kotare stockists worldwide, subject to demand. These are another very exciting release for our small company.

Thanks to Kotare Models for the images and information
