Once again I am most impressed with the manner of presentation by this Polish company, with the decals and information material backed with a very solid card sheet inside a resealable thin plastic sleeve, which might be worth replacing with a zip-lock bag once opened.

Each aircraft is given a high quality coloured A4 double-sided poster with, one one side the two side views and, on the rear, a mass of photos, drawings, colour and decal placement information. It is suggested that the modeller might like to frame these for display and they are certainly of sufficient quality to do this. 

The three aircraft depicted here are an interesting assortment of both US and British ‘spoils of war’, as follows :

1. Junkers Ju88 A-4 War 300227 captured at Foggia, Italy in late 1943 by the 86th FS / 79th FG in the standard bomber scheme overlain with pale squiggles , but given a coat of yellow over the rear fuselage and both wing surfaces to about 1/3 wingspan, as well as under the cowlings, with the fronts painted red, given six-position stars and an RAF fin flash, certainly a colourful beast!

2. Messerschmitt Bf 109 K-4, yellow 5, Slazburg-Maxglan, Austria, mid-1945 in standard fighter scheme with most markings over-painted and replaced with hand-painted US stars and yellow rudder and nose band, and

3. Heinkel He111 H-6, 5J+?R and picked up by 211 Group RAF in north Africa in December 1942, in standard Luftwaffe bomber splinter colours over pale blue, but given large RAF roundels and rudder stripes, a yellow fuselage stripe and large white codes HS+?  and the moniker ‘Delta Lily’. This is well-known ‘acquisition’ and it is good to see it in decal form.

The decals are beautifully printed by Cartograf, with negligible carrier film in gloss finish, while colour density appears to be excellent and register is perfect.

I commend this sheet to any modeller of these aircraft in 1/48 for its quality production and presentation.
