The GBU-10 Paveway II is an American Paveway-series laser-guided bomb, based on the Mk 84 general-purpose bomb, but with laser seeker and wings for guidance.
Introduced into service around 1976, the GBU-10 is used by the USAF, US Navy, US Marine Corps, Royal Australian Air Force and various NATO air forces.
Eduard has released a 1/32 scale GBU-10 Paveway II set comprising two bombs. These bombs will be suitable for your A-7, A-10, B-52, F-111, F-117, F-15E, F- 16 , F/A-18 C/D, A-6 and F-14 kits.
Thi BRASSIN set is made up from two pieces in pale grey resin, twelve pieces in dark grey resin and a decal sheet.
The resin is crisply detailed and perfectly cast.
Two styles of laser seeker caps are supplied as separate parts.
The bomb bodies are cast onto small strips at the base. Removal of the blocks and cleanup should be fast and easy.
The forward set of fins are also separate parts. The resin bodies are cast with a positive recessed locating holes and slots for the fins.
The decals provide stencil markings.
Instructions are straightforward, as you would expect for such a small parts count.
This crisply detailed GBU-10 Paveway set will be a useful accessory for your 1/32 scale A-7, A-10, B-52, F-111, F-117, F-15E, F- 16 , F/A-18 C/D, A-6 and F-14 kits.
