Sabre Model is a new conpany that produces resin figures and plastic military kits.
They have released a new 1/48 scale figure set, "U.S. Navy F-14A Tomcat Pilot Team (1980s)".
The set comprises two figures packed inside separate ziplock bags in a small but very sturdy cardboard box.
One is a pilot climbing into the cockpit.
The other is standing on the groud, helmet in the crook of his elbow, pointing into the distance.
Sculpting is very good. The pilots are wearing typical 1980s Navy pilot's uniform including oxygen mask and life preserver.
The standing figure is case as a single part and the climbing pilot has a separate arm. The only cleanup required is a single small strip on the bottom of each shoe. Casting quality is perfect on my samples.
This is a really nice little figure set that will lend context, scale and additional interest to your F-14A Tomcat.
Thanks to Sabre Model for the sample
