Eduard's 1/48 BRASSIN Spitfire Vb Gun Bays are available online from Squadron.com
The undercarriage legs and wheel bay doors used on the Hawker Tempests had considerable detail on both of them.
The legs were of a fairly complex twin leg system due to the weight and relatively high landing speeds.
The Eduard Brassin Tempest Undercarriage legs - Bronze set consists of 6 light grey parts and 2 bronze legs. Included is an instruction sheet.
The detail on the complex bronze legs is finely reproduced and extremely strong. These will certainly improve your Tempest model's strength. Included are a set of wheel bay doors cast in resin with superb inner detail. With careful painting and washes to highlight the detail, you will improve the quality of your model.
Colour call outs are for both Aqueous and Mr Color from Gunze.
These are made for the current Eduard releases. Ideally, this set should be matched with the Brassin wheel set reviewed on this site.
This is a very nice Brassin set to lift the detail and quality of your Tempest’s wheel bay and undercarriage detail on your Eduard model. Highly recommended.
Thanks to Eduard for the samples and images.
