High level of detail; perfect casting; printing / painting in register; straightforward cleanup and assembly. |
Disadvantages: |
The instrument panel should really be RLM 66 Black Grey, not black. |
Conclusions: |
The inclusion of the flexible STEEL harness straps is a nice bonus, and for many 1/32 scale kits these will be the only accessories your cockpit will need. |

Eduard has released a "LooK" set for the recent Revell 1/32 scale Me 262 A.
The set comprises the primary and smaller instrument panels cast in black resin with colour printed dials, bezels, switches, knobs and more.
A choice of switch panels is offered - one for the fighter and one for the Jabo version.
Printing on my sample is in register and although the dials aren't actually readable, they are quite convincing!
The lenses of the instruments are finished in a glassy, glossy finish too.
In the case of multi-part panels, the minor parts are located positively in recessed or with the aid of locating circles.
Please note that for some reason the sets look better in the flesh than they do in my photos.
As a nice bonus, this set also includes Eduard STEEL harness straps.
These are more flexible than the standard Eduard photo-etched straps, and they also feature subtle half tones.
Instructins are included in the package.
Eduard's Look instrument pabels are a fast and easy upgrade for a growing range of models.
The inclusion of the flexible STEEL harness straps is a nice bonus, and for many 1/32 scale kits these will be the only accessories your cockpit will need.
Thanks to Eduard for the samples.
