Just got the new AZ CR-32 in 1/72 scale- this little guy is pretty much a new tool from them, and it is much better than the old SuperModel one.. new technology, new mold = better kit to build!
There are only two sprues as you can see, with a simple decal sheet for Hungarian machines.
There is no clear part for canopy, only an acetate clear sheet you will have to cut and fold.
The paint schemes are on the backside of the box, and very colorful.
The plastic is as of a soft gray as other AZ kits, engraved, with soft rib effects on flying surfaces and fuselage. It should be a breeze to build, as there is minimum rigging to do.. If you have some skills, I recommend it..
I am enclosing pictures from the SuperModel Kit also for comparison.
The SuperModel Kit is also two sprues, with more harder rib effects than the AZ.. it brings clear parts, a canopy and a nice stand for it - the decal sheet has more possible subjects to make than the AZ.
It is a dark green plastic and a bit tougher than AZ- of course, we are comparing technologies 30+ years apart! But let me tell you, the SuperModel Kit (I believe now reissued by Italeri), was tops back then..
These two models are from my “stash”, and one day they will in my showcase, built!
