A great range of schemes and squadrons represented, beautifully presented and with terrific instructions. |

Conclusion: |
Definitely recommend for the RAF Phantom phanatic!Applicable to the new Airfix kit and to those Fujimi kits in the attic. I guess it would pay for two or three or four modellers to go shares in these sheets as they offer so many great choices. |

This is just one of a growing series of Xtradecal sheets that have been produced for the long-anticipated Airfix kit. There is no reason why these cannot be applied to the older Fujimi or even Matchbox kits if you have them buried in the stash - I know I have three of the former! Brett has reviewed some of the others in the series.
Produced by Hannants and printed by Microscale to their usual high standards, an enormous range of squadrons and schemes are being catered for on these two sheets and the colour density looks terrific, with nine different aircraft being presented on sheet 72293
The mind boggles if some modeller out there produces every single Phantom from these five sheets so far - what a sight!
As usual there are full colour decal placement guides. Stencils are available on a separate sheet.
This sheet offers the following nine choices:
Five different FGR2s in Camouflage grey/Medium Sea Grey/ Light Aircraft Grey, as follows:
An all-black FG1, XV582,’M’ of 111Sqn,
and three Dark Sea Grey/Dark Green/ Light Aircraft Grey aircraft,
Both of these latter two lack the fin tip RWR antenna.
These are definitely recommended for the RAF Phantom phanatic, and applicable to the new Airfix kit or to those Fujimi kits in the attic.
I guess it would pay for two or three or four modellers to go shares in these sheets as they offer so many great choices.
