Iliad Design of Canada has released a new 1/48 scale decal sheet for the ICM / Revell Beechcraft C-45 kit.
There are three subjects. Two represent the short nacelle version as featured straight from the box, while one of the options is the long-nacelle UC-45J. Belcher Bits from Canada offers a long nacelle conversion providing both the nacelles and extended leading edge parts.
The three subjects are as follows:
-
SNB-2H hospital aircraft stationed at NAS Jacksonville. The aircraft is finished in bright natural metal with black anti-glare panels and de-icer boots. Red Crosses are carried in eight position as well as national markings.
-
Long-nacelle UC-45J based at NAS Atsugi Japan in the mid-1960s. Overall white with black anti-glare panels.
-
Beech AT-7C around 1946 in natural metal with faded Olive Drab anti-glare panels.
Instructions are offered over a folded A4 sheet in full colour, with one side plus upper and lower views plus detailed notes on the application of the decals over features such as the undercarriage doors and the intercooler outlets.
Decals are printed perfectly on my sample, and colours look good.
These are three interesting subjects for your 1/48 scale ICM or Revell Beechcraft.
Thanks to Iliad Design for the review sample.
