Fantasy Printshop has released a new range of stripe decals.

At first glance, stripe decals might not seem such an impressive idea. However, the achievement here is the sheer breadth of the range.

Fantasy Printshop has produced more than 30 sheets of stripe decals in various widths and in a broad range of military, metallic, fluoro and generic colours. These will be ideal for many modelling projects, and will also be an easier and cleaner substitute for many painting and masking tasks.

 

 

Each set is simply presented as one decal sheet packed with stripes. They are packed into a clear ziplock bag. Instructions are not included, but nor are they necessary.

Two size ranges are available - smaller sheets from 0.25mm to 9mm (28 stripes on each sheet), and larger decal sheets with stripes from 7mm to 12mm (11 stripes on each sheet).

 

 

Each stripe is an individual decal, so there will be no close cutting-out required, althougg separating the fine pin stripes will require a straight edge, a sharp knife and some care.

Printing looks perfect on my sample and decal film is thin. My experience with Fantasy Printshop decals is that they s perform well on the model too.
