In addition to printing high-quality markings for other decal companies, Fantasy Printshop also produces their own decals under the brand name of Euro Decals. Until recently these have tended to be national markings, serials and codes, and generic decals, but we are starting to see a flurry of decal releases for specific aircraft subjects.
The latest of these cover late bubbletop Mustangs - P-51D, F-51D and Mustang Mk.IV. Two separate releases are available for 1/72 and 1/48 scales.
Markings are supplied for six subjects in a variety of finishes and colourful markings. it is a very cosmopolitan collecton, with six different nationalities on the one sheet.
Subjects are:
-
NORTH AMERICAN MUSTANG MK.IV, KH673 GL-N, “SWEETPEA”, 5 SQN. SAAF, ITALY, APRIL 1945
-
NORTH AMERICAN F-51D MUSTANG K”, 1 SQN., ROKAF, CHINHAE AIR BASE, AUGUST 1950
-
NORTH AMERICAN MUSTANG MK.IV, NZ2427, “27”, 3 SQN. TERRITORIAL AIR FORCE, RNZAF, LATE 1940S
-
NORTH AMERICAN P-51D MUSTANG, 44-11222, CV-I, “JOLIE HÉLÈNE”, 368TH FS, 359TH FG, USAAF, 1945

National markings are provided for all the options, so you can finish six models with this good-value release.

The single decal sheet is printed perfectly by Fantasy Printshop.Colours look great, and the glossy printing is in register.
This is a very welcome release from Fantasy Printshop for any P-51D Mustang kit with the fin fillet.
