RS48-0052 GBU 12 Bombs

This set consists of 2 GBU 12 bombs, each made up from 10 parts. You are given a choice of seeker heads to select from. The moulding is crisply detailed with minimal clean-up required bar the removal from the pouring plug.

A set of decals are included to complete the bombs accurately following construction and painting, however there are no colour call outs at all, so you will have to do your own research on appropriate colours for the GBUs.

I would like to comment that this is a great set, however, with tiny seeker heads etc in the set, I would really love to see the resin parts bagged within the box to protect and control all of these lovely cast tiny pieces.

Upon opening my box, with some foam top and bottom inside, the loose parts literally fell out all over the place….not good Mr Reskit! These are a reasonably priced set of high quality bombs that will add that nice touch to many of your Allied modern jets.

Well recommended.

RS48-0060 Matra-155 Rocket Launcher Pods

This set consists of 4 Matra-155 Rocket Pods, each made up from 6 parts. The moulding is crisply detailed with minimal clean-up required bar the removal from the pouring plug.

Again, no painting call outs, just a basic instruction sheet.

Again, this set had loose parts within a box. See comments above. These are a reasonably priced set of quality rocket pods that will add that nice touch to a number of your Allied modern jets, especially the French ones. Well recommended.

RS48-0055 Mitsubishi F-1 Wheels
RS72-0055 Mitsubishi F-1 Wheels

I’ve put these 2 different scale sets under one heading as they are for the same aircraft type. The 1/48 set consists of 7 parts, with tyres, separate wheel hubs and front wheel supplied. The moulding is crisply detailed with minimal clean-up required bar the removal from the pouring plug via thin pour sections. The inner and outer wheel hubs are differently detailed.

The 1/72 set consists of 3 parts, 2 main wheels and the nose wheel with tyres and hubs moulded integrally.

Both set are reasonably priced and of high quality that will add that will lift the undercarriage sections of your Kitty Hawk, Special Hobby, Platz or Hasegawa kits. Well recommended.

RS72-0029  Mirage III (D/E/R/S) Wheel set

This wheel set is designed for the PJ Productions and R.V Aircraft kits, but could be used with other kits. The set consists of 5 finely moulded parts. The tyres have been moulded with the outer hub as one piece but has the brake hub as a separate insert. In some ways this will help the painting process but it still leaves you with a masking job for the other hub. 

Detail is crisp and to a really good level for 1/72. Again, I’m sure this set can be used with other brands of kits to enhance the undercarriage.

RS72-0051 IAI Kfir Wheel set 

This wheel set is designed for the AMK, Hasegawa and Italeri kits, but could be used with other kits. The set consists of 5 finely moulded parts.

The tyres have been moulded seperately with the outer and inner hubs, which are quite different as separate inserts. This certainly will make the painting process easier. Detail is crisp and to a really good level for 1/72.

Reskit have given us more choices to add to an already comprehensive range of wheels sets in most scales. Their detail and quality of casting continues to be very high. Also of benefit, is the detailed ordinance sets which have a great level of detail, and choice, to complement your modern jet aircraft builds. All sets are recommended.
