Xtradecal has released a new decal sheet for Revell's and Trumpeter's 1/72 scale Fw 200 Condor kits.

 

 

Most of the subjects are finished in the low-contrast maritime green upper surfaces, although there is an interesting patterned machine, plus one in solid winter white camouflage and a night intruder with black lower surfaces and rear fuselage.

  • Fw-200C-3 Ex KG40 14./TG 4 G6+FY Rhodes 1945 RLM71/72/73/65 with RLM76 Tarnmaster pattern;

  • Fw-200C-3 Stab.I>/KG40 F8-BB Bordeauux-Merignac 1941 RLM71/72/73/65;

  • Fw-200C-4 8./KG40 F8+CS RLM71/72/73/65; Fw-200C-8 9./KG40 +HT Finland 1944;

  • Fw-200C-2 12./KG40 Bordeaux F8+BW Ship Kills on Rudder RLM71/72/73/65;

  • Fw-200C-4/U1 CG+AE VIP Transport Helsinki 1944 RLM71/72/73/65;

  • Fw-200C-4/U1 CE+IB VIP Transport Eastern Front 1942/43 RLM21 White/65;

  • Fw-200C-3 F8+BW 4./KG40 Russia 1942 RLM72/73/22

Three sets of national markings and two sets of swastikas are included.

 

 

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheet. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all the schemes. Stencils are not included.

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

 

 

This release offers some interesting marking and colour options for modellers of Revell's and Trumpeter's 1/72 scale Fw 200 Condor kits.
