Xtradecal has released a new 1/48 scale decal set with nine options for a wide selection of Messerschmitt Bf 110 variants.

There is a worthy selection of good 1/48 scale kits out there, the best being Eduard and Dragon (CyberHobby), although the older Fujimi and Monogram kits are still out there too.

Xtradecal offers a nice variety of camouflage and markings for the nine schemes incuding one Hungarian option.

• Bf 110C-4 A2+EK 5/NJG 3 Skagerrak 1941 finished in RLM70/71/65;

• Bf 110D-2 3U+5R 7./ZG26 Staffelcapitan Oblt. GottfriedKotwatsch Libya 1942 finished in RLM79/80/68;

• Bf 110-D3 U+AN 5/ZG26 Staffelcapitan Theodoe Rossiwall Sofia, Bulgaria 1941 finished in RLM74/75/76 with yellow nose, nacelles and rudder;

• Bf 110E-2 3U+HK 2/ZG 26 Ofw Herbert Schob Russia 1942. Finished in overall white with yellow fuselage band;

• Bf 110E-2 G9+BM 4/NJG 1Oblt Rauh, Norway Feb 194.2 finished in overall black with red shark mouth;

• Bf 110F-3 --+ZH 1.(F)/124 Norway 1944. Finished in RLM74/75/76;

• Bf 110F-4 Romania AF ZZ+AW Escadrila 51 Bucharest 1944. Finished in overall RLM76;

• Bf 110G-2 S9+LP 6./ZG1 France 1943 in RLM74/75/76 with yellow Wasp on nose; 

• Bf 110G-2 S2+DA St.G 77 Poland 1943 in RLM74/75/76 with Totenhand on nose;

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all nine aircraft.

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

Two full sets of German national markings plus Hungarian national markings are included on the second slightly smaller decal sheet.

This release offers a nice variety of camouflage and markings for anyone building Eduard's, Dragon's or Monogram's 1/48 scale Messerschmitt Bf 110 kits.
