Xtradecal has released a new 1/48 scale decal set with six options for the recent ICM 1/48 scale Dornier Do 215 kits.

Xtradecal offers a nice variety of colours, markings and roles.

Six Dornier Do-215B-1/Do-215B-2/Do-215B-4/Do-215B-5 are covered. Details are as follows:

  • Do-215B-2 G2+MH 1(F)/124 Ofw Erwin Bauerin April 1942;

  • Do-215B-2 T5+PL 3(F)/Aufkl.Gr.Ob.d.I;

  • Do-215B-2 1/1 F.7+09 Hungarian AF Seven League Boots Long Range Recce Sqn Russia 1942;

  • Do-215B-4 G2+BH 1(F)24 Norway 1940;

All RLM70/71/65;

  • Do-215B-5 G9+PM 4/NJG1 Helmut Lent Belgium 1941;

  • Do-215B-5 R4+AP 6/NJG2 Leeuwarden 1941;

Both overall black.

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across two folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheets. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all six aircraft.

One set of Hungarian and one set of German national markings are included.

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.
