Xtradecal has released a new decal sheet perfectly timed for Special Hobby's newly released 1/32 scale Hawker Tempest Mk.2 / F.2.

 

 

Details are as follows:

  • PR533 5R-V 33 Sqn Malaya 1949-50 blue codes finished in overall high speed silver;

  • MW798 HF-M 64 Sqn Chilbolton finished in RAF Dark Green, Ocean Grey and Medium Sea Grey;

  • QA130 Pakistan AF 1948 finished in Dark Earth, Mid Stone and Sky Blue (not Sky);

One full set of standard late-war RAF, one full set of post war RAF and one set of Pakistani national markings are supplied.

 

 

Instructions for the decal sheet are in full colour across one folded double-sided A4 and one A5 sheet. Both side plus upper and lower views are provided for all three aircraft. Stencils are not included.

 

 

Colour notes are supplied, along with model paint callouts for Xtracolor enamels and Xtracrylix acrylics.

The decals are beautifully printed and feature thin carrier film.

 

This release offers some interesting and colourful options for those building the new Special Hobby 1/32 scale Hawker Tempest Mk.2 / F.2 kit.
