Iliad Design of Canada has released a decal sheet for those wanting a slightly different finish for their Matchbox or Revell re-released 1/72 scale DHC-6 Twin Otter.

Five sets of varied marking options are offered::
-
DHC-6 Series 300 of the Ecuadorian Air Force, September 1994, e finished in SEA camouflage of Tan, Dark Green and Green upper surfaces with grey below.
-
Twin Otter Series 300 operated by Transport Canada, 2006-7, in overall red with black nacelles and wing exhaust areas.
-
UV-18A (essentially a Series 300 but with a shortened nose) of the Alaska Army National Guard, 1979, finished in overall Gloss Olive Drab with a white fuselage stripe.
-
Twin Otter Series 300 of the French Air Force in Egypt during 1989 in overall white with red wing bands and black areas in way of engine exhaust.
-
Twin Otter Series 300 operated by the International Committee of the Red Cross during 2004 in overall white with black areas in way of engine exhaust and anti-glare panel.
Instructions are offered over two folded A4 sheets in full colour, with one side plus upper and lower views plus detailed notes on the application of the decals.

A full page is devoted to antenna configurations and right-side rescue markings too..
Decals are printed perfectly on my sample, and colours look good.
These are three interesting and rarely seen subjects for your 1/72 scale Twin Otter kit.
Thanks to Iliad Design for the review sample.
