These are good quality Spitfire Mk.IX stencils, and will compliment any brand kit that needs them – Recommended.

FirstLook

 

These decals are presumably part of an over-run, as they are identical to those provided in Eduard’s Spitfire Mk.IXc Late Version Profipack Edition. They will also no doubt be included in future Weekend and other version Profipack Editions.

 

 

They will compliment any brand Spitfire IX (also Mk.XVI, VIII, etc) kit that lacks stencil markings, and Spitfire over-trees should Eduard offer them in the future.

The instructions can be downloaded as a PDF by clicking here. They have a note saying “Designed exclusively for Spitfire Mk.IX by Eduard”, but it seems clear they will at least suit most late Merlin-powered Spitfires.  

 

 

The decals come in a resealable cellophane bag with a two-page A5 sized set of instructions, card stiffener and protective tissue sheet. They are crisply printed and appear to be of very good quality; as we would expect from Eduard.

 

 

Conclusion

 

These are good quality Spitfire Mk.IX stencils, and will compliment any brand kit that needs them – Recommended.
