Roy Sutherland has sent the following information and images of the next releases in Barracuda Studios' range of accessories:

Barracuda Studios is very happy to announce a suite of resin sets almost 4 years in the making. These 5 sets will transform your old Monogram B-1B Lancer into a much more detailed and accurate beast!

This is just a quick overview, as I am leaving for the UK nationals in 10 hours! These sets will be available for sale at the show in limited numbers and available for sale online in late of November. Watch this space for announcements.

BR72296 1/72 B-1B Nose and Tailcone set

Set addresses some accuracy issues with the Monogram kit. Consists of 54 resin parts. Many of those are nose pitots and tiny vortex generators, and we give you plenty of extras for the inevitable tweezer launches!

BR72298 1/72 B-1B Rear Nacelle and Late Exhaust Set

This represents a huge accuracy and detail upgrade for the Monogram 1/72 B-1B kit. Includes a pair of new rear nacelles, 4 uncovered exhaust nozzles, 4 flame holders, APU exhausts, flow vanes, and correction pieces for the trailing edge wing root.

BR72299 1/72 B-1B Nose and Main Wheel Set.

Super detailed resin castings with accurate tread, hub detail and tire data. An easy upgrade!

BR72300 1/72 B-1B Forward Nacelle and Engine Intake set

This set replaces the whole front 1/3 of the engine nacelles, correcting the shapes and details, as well as providing complete intake trunks with baffles up to and including separate turbine faces. A very important and noticeable upgrade.

BR72301 1/72 B-1B Wing Seal Set

This set fills a huge ugly gap in each wing root with a single resin piece that is subtly ribbed like the original. A simple installation that will make a big difference in the finished model.

We think you will agree that these sets are a must have for anyone wanting a state of the art Bone in their collection.
