Resin Improvement has quite an extensive range of detail and conversion parts in resin and both coloured and plain PE; they also offer and pre-cut paint masks. Their PE products are to be manufactured by Eduard, so the quality is automatically good. I assume Eduard is behind the paint masks and resin as well, as their quality is excellent too.

They set reviewed here comes in a zip-lock plastic bag with card header and basic instructions. The quality of resin casting is very good. The flap set is designed for the excellent series of Eduard Hellcat kits, and is quite simple. Essentially, the kit flaps must be cut away and replaced by a new inner wing surface. A series of separate hinges then connect the replacement resin flaps to this new inner wing surface – Job done.

Conclusion

If you find dropped flaps on your Hellcat appealing, then this good quality set is for you.

Recommended.
