Large models crave extra detail.

BarracudaCast appreciate this, and have helped many modellers in the past with their well thought out products. These two additions cater for WWI aircraft…specifically the releases from Wingnut Wings.

They are simple one-for-one replacements which will enhance your subject with a minimum of fuss.

As good as the Wingnut kits are, there is always room for improvement. Engines are usually one area that can benefit from aftermarket accessories and these two latest releases do just that:

BR32020 - 1/32nd scale Mercedes D.III/D.IIIa intake manifold

This package enhances the original by including the asbestos cord and associated shielding found on the intake manifold. The clasps that hold the latter are also replicated, as are the holes for the mounting of the water cooling pipe. Fill these location points if omitting kit part E42. Make sure that you do not damage the delicate piping for the D.IIIau version that is located on the far edge of the casting block.

BR32021 - 1/32nd scale Pfalz D.XII Late Production Exhaust

This is a quick one-for-one replacement of the existing WNW part. It retains the original weld beading and the exhaust opening is commendably deep with nice thin walls.

Conclusion

All of these resin parts are perfectly cast with no blemishes or air bubbles to be seen anywhere.

One must take care when removing them from their blocks, so a good razor saw is essential.
The results will be well worth the effort, as these pieces will make a big difference to the look of your latest creation.

All Highly Recommended.
