Airfix's 1/72 scale Sabre Mk.4 is available online from Squadron

Description

This is the recently released 1:72 scale Canadair Sabre F.Mk.4 Sabre kit from Airfix.

It has been built straight from the box with no kit or decal modifications whatsoever.

The kit goes together impeccably, all the contours make it look like a Sabre and the surface detail is sufficient to give a beautiful appearance when carefully washed out. The model took less than 2 weeks to complete, which my friends will tell you is a miraculous feat for me and all-in-all this mini project was a very satisfying testament to the quality of the latest generations of Airfix kits.

The model has been painted entirely with Vallejo Air and Model Colour paints.

The main camouflage colours are from the WWII RAF Day Fighter Colours Set (71162), and after some anxieties about the colour match when viewed in the bottle, I hope you’ll agree that on the model they look just right.
