I wrote a detailed in-box review of Kinetic's F-16A "Tiger Meet 2009" kit shortly after its release in April this year.

The kit was built straight from the box with no added extras. 

The model went together very well with very little filler required. 

The big challenge was to get the decals on with no air bubbles and conforming to the detail of the kit.  The decals are designed by Daco decals and nicely printed by Cartograf but when I applied the first decal it looked like a marking added to the kit and not painted on as with the real aircraft. I tried a few decal setting solutions such as Mr Gunze, Aeromaster, Micro set, Model Master, and in desperation Solvaset.  

Finally I tried a new solution that I had only just procured from EFD Simply Glues.  The first was “Aceti Set”. This was disastrous on a test sample completely destroying the decal. 

The second was “Ted’s Decal Set” and this worked perfectly.  The setting solution caused the decal to act like shrink wrap and adhered to every contour in seconds from application making the decal look like it was painted on.  

The aircraft was finished as F16A Block 20 MLU Serial number FA-87 of No 31 Squadron in Tiger Scheme for the NATO Tigermeet in 2009-2010.

At the end of the day the finished model looks like an accurate and detailed F-16 and a very nice one indeed straight from the box with no expensive aftermarket detail sets required to detail or to convert the kit to this version of the F-16. 

I am very happy with the build and proud to display this kit in this amazing tiger scheme.
