Daco Decals has released a fine quality decal sheet depicting schemes for 15th, 20th, and 25th anniversary schemes for Belgium F-16B Falcons of the OCU and Falcon operations.
The decals are superbly printed with good colour saturation and excellent register. As usual the carrier film is ultra thin and my experience with the Daco Decals that I have used in the past is that the decals will snuggle down into the surface detail well under a coat of clear.
Markings are provided for 3 aircraft as follows
-
F-16B Serial Number FB-24 depicting 15 years of OCU in 2002. This aircraft has stunning tail art of a blue and white check scheme with a soaring Falcon painted on the starboard side and a Falcon head painted on the port side.
-
F-16B Serial Number FB-24 depicting 20 years of F-16 in 2005. This aircraft has tail art of a blue and white check band with a soaring Falcon painted on the port side and a black band with an F16 silhouette on the starboard side.
-
F-16B Serial Number FB-18 depicting 25 years of OCU. This aircraft has stunning tail art of a black and white check scheme with a soaring Falcon painted on each side.
The set includes all the data decals required to complete one aircraft and reinforcing plates for the fuselage.
Overall, a stunning sheet by Daco Decals.
Thanks to Daco for the samples
