Resin Art is a relatively new brand of resin detail sets from the Czech Republic. They produce detail sets in several of the popular scales. Resin Art’s web page can be found here.

The Ar 96/C.2 set is intended for KP’s kit (also boxed by Mastercraft), although no doubt it would compliment Heller’s Ar 96 equally well. The Fulmar set mentions being intended for the Revell kit (which has also been boxed by Vista, SMER and Airfix).

The Ar 96/C.2 set provides a very nice prop hub and blades, along with two wheels and two air scoops; whilst the Fulmar set has two very nice exhausts, main wheels and pitot. The parts themselves are crisply cast in a green or grey resin. Detail levels and finesse are to the highest standards of the best Czech brands.

I am familiar with both brands of Ar 96 kit, and have built the Vista boxing of the Fulmar. I believe in all three cases that Resin Art’s replacement parts are a big improvement on the kit components. I have not seen MPM’s new 1/72 Fulmar, and so can’t comment on whether or not it would benefit from Resin Art’s exterior set.

Both sets come in a plastic bag with header. The fitment of parts is obvious, and so no instructions are provided.

Conclusion

These are very well produced sets that should refine and bring to life your 1/72 Ar 96 and Fulmar models: Highly recommended.
