Description

 

Here are some pictures of my 1/48 scale Tamiya Focke-Wulf Fw 190 F-8

This Fw 190 F-8 “White 9” belong to unknown Schlachtgechwader in Czech Territory, Chrudim May 1945. It was possibly assigned to Assault group SG 77.. Aircraft number is 932197.

Colour drawings were used for reference from www.rafiger.de site.

Colors are RLM 74,75 for top and 76 for underside. Gunze acrylic paints are used. Thined black acrylic applied to all panel lines by a fine brush and used dark brown chalk pastel for weathering. Be tested pencil for some metallic effect for hinge and panel locks.

After aplied fianaly humbrol mat coat, for looking like a metal surface, all surface was polished with cotton, especially gun cowl panel and wings edges.

An Eduard photo-etched set and kit decals, Aeromaster stencils and Sky Decals were used.
