This is the first decal sheet that I have review from this company and on first view they are impressive. Platz have delivered a high quality decal sheet depicting markings for the Kawashi T-4 training aircraft of the Japanese Defence Force in 1/72 scale.
The decals are recommended for the 1/72 scale Hasegawa kit which itself is a very nicely detailed kit.
The decals are superbly printed by Cartograph and they have good colour saturation and are in perfect register. The carrier film is ultra
The detail in the data decals is finely printed and is easily readable. The instruction sheet is printed in colour and gives good indication for decal placement.
The two schemes provided in this sheet are as follows:
-
Kawashi T-4 of the 3rd Sqn of the 3rd AW in 2007. The aircraft is finished in the scheme of overall FS36375 Light Ghost Grey with FS 28915 Fluorescent Orange tips on the fin and horizontal stabilisers and wing tips. The aircraft has a yellow outlined pattern over the entire upper surfaces.
-
Kawashi T-4 of the Western Air Defence Force Headquarters Support Flight Sqn in Japanese 50th Anniversary Scheme in 2004. The aircraft is finished in the scheme of overall FS36375 Light Ghost Grey with FS 28915 Fluorescent Orange tips on the fin and horizontal stabilisers and wing tips.
Thanks to Platz decal for the review sample.
