Description

Here is my recent work, the test shots of 2007 forthcoming release from "BITTER" (not SWEET) - a 1/144 Spitfire Mk.XIVe.

Of course, this was a prank for display at Shizuoka.

I remodeled Wing Club Collection's 1/144 scale Spitfire Mk.1 (Canditoy put on the market in Japan), to the Mk.14 type, and made reproduced the result in resin.

I cut apart the resin parts then glued them to the sprue of SWEET's P-51B, and finished it up as if it was the test shot.

I also designed and printed box art for the Spitfire in the style of SWEET, including cartoon girls and other comical characters.

It was exhibited as a joke amongst new product releases in the 2007 Shizuoka Modelers club combination exhibition.

Timing was perhaps not ideal though, as this may have been a better April's Fool hoax.

The person in charge of SWEET was amused by the compliment.

I am hoping that he takes the hint and produces a genuine Sweet Spitfire family!
