Tamiya's 1/48 scale Heinkel He 219A-7 is available online from Squadron

Description

Here is my Henschel Hs129B-3 in 1/72 scale built using the outdated Bílek kit. The model represents an anti-tank version of the plane equipped with BK 7,5 cannon. Only 25 examples of this version were built by September 1944.

Building of the kit required a more effort than usually. I focused mainly on the cockpit and landing gear bays, trying to improve their appearance by opening the FUG 16Z radio bay and adding several refuelling covers on upper surface of the wing. Some metal parts were taken from a Pavla Models' kit Hs129A to use. Drilling vent openings on a cannon barrel mouth was also a challenging job.

Camouflage in RLM70/71/65 colours with RLM04 identification yellow bands was sprayed using acrylic Revell paints. All surface was oversprayed with Model Master satin lacquer.

For weathering I used an oil wash and silver pencil marker as well as a little bit of silver Humbrol paint.
