Tamiya's 1/48 scale P-51B Mustang is available online from Squadron
This is Tamiya's 1/48 P-51B Mustang finished in the
markings of 3 Squadron RAAF, based at Fano in Italy during the winter of
1944/45.
I was inspired in a model I saw in an article about Aussie Mustang
Mk.III. That model was made by Chris Wauchop and I followed every
indication he wrote in the article. I used Mr. Color Paints and
Aeromaster decals.
The kit seat was changed by an Cutting Edge one, and the wheels
came from True Details. I installed an Eduard Zoom set too.
The control column is from a Cutting Edge set for the Sea Fury,
but I think it works well here.
