Trumpeter's 1/32 scale Mi-24V Hind E is available online from Squadron
Here some photos of my Trumpeter Mil
Mi-24V Hind-E in 1/35 scale.
This is my last creation, which took
more or less six months.
The model has been improved with many
extra details (especially engines and rotors), not
bought from aftermarket but found at home and/or hand
made.
The camouflage has been painted
freehand, with the airbrush at low pressure (no mask)
using reference photos for the pattern. Humbrol colors
has been used for the camouflage, while Tamiya "Smoke"
has been applied to realize some weathering near the
engine.
Weathering has been applied with oil
colors. Many of the effects have been created via
postshading with the airbrush. I used post-it notes to
mask different area tones.
The stand was made from an old wooden
plate. The artificial grass is from Heki.
Photos were taken with a Nikon Coolpix
e880 and enhanced with Photoshop (to remove undesired
surfaces with the wand tool).
I would to thank Trumpeter to give me the fortune to
build this kit. Thank you!
