I built the Classic Airframes Messerschmitt Bf 109 D kit number 4134 almost totally out of the box.

I cut the exhaust stacks off to make the cowling easier to fair into the fuselage. I also cut the photo etch seat belt buckles from the metal straps and replaced them with Tamiya Tape.

 

 

I chose the Swiss scheme as it is most colorful. T

The model was painted with Model Master German colors 70/71 over 65 and the Swiss red and white neutrality stripes were painted with Tamiya paint.

Kit decals were used and worked very well.
